The fact that you can link a setting is a huge woah factor here. What a time to be alive!

Ok, sync for mastodon, I didn’t see it coming!
That would be beautiful.
The first frame of the video with a ▶️ sign would be the best, in my opinion.
If that’s not possible, just a play sign would be OK.
Thank you for this wonderful explanation and for taking the time to write it.
That’s the kind of content that make this place so awesome.
It could have happened 8.59 years ago
Or he could get 5 bucks from four people instead of 20 from one.
I mean, it even make sense to wait a little: collect big tickets from people who are ok with that amount now, and from the most supportive ones, and collect another bunch of money later, with sales or promotions.
It would make sense, and if this method works for the dev, everyone benefits from it.
They say he’s a bit slow on the field, is it true?
It’s such a pleasure to be back, it’s a wonderful app.
Can’t thank you enough.
Pricing: I’ll be happy to contribute (hell, I even have some Google survey credit rotting there), but honestly the current price is too high, and I don’t mind a few ads. My opinion is that with a price point around 5 € / year you could have a lot more people jumping in to remove ads, or at least it would be fine for me.
I tried to load it, but it gave me an error.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I can assist.
The question is: can you score?
The equivalent of multireddits could help, but I don’t think it’s implemented yet.
Could probably be done even via app.
Who knows… Do you have a link that I can follow to try?
I’m trying to access the community from Connect, but none of the links work.
Neither the search bar…
I’m on feddit.it, maybe we are not federated… That’s hard.
That’s a nice suggestion!
Question from a newbie: if you happen to choose an unlucky server on pixelfed, and it gets closed after a while, all the pictures will just vanish, right?
I mean, nothing to worry about if you are hosting memes or other “need to be fresh” content, but if you are looking for something that can be relevant even in the future, maybe that’s a bit risky.
Possibly because if comms stay empty for a long time, people will search for content elsewhere, and lemmy get forgotten.
Remember that many people come from reddit, and are searching for a place where new content is easy to find.
Let me add, even the video stream is nice in the app I’m using (Connect)
Maybe he’s a master in ASCII art, what do you know
