People do on occasion, like there were armed leftists that prevented police from raiding encampments in Texas, and at some protests there have been organized armed groups like John Brown Gun Clubs or Socialist Rifle Associations. Several people that argued for more militant resistance to state violence were murdered in 2020, and many times for decades before that, so a lot of people are scared and not organized sufficiently, but there are groups that have been preparing.

I see that more and more in the US, people saying things like “what can we do to help them, most homeless people want to live that way” like wtf?

Thats what I’m confused about, if they have staff to run it all the time, why would they schedule people like this except to make their lives more miserable? I do know bosses love that though.

Edit: Someone pointed out people don’t want to work only the swing shift or night, so they schedule like this to keep full crews, I guess that makes sense but it still sucks

It makes sense if that’s the level of contact ypu want, but yeah I would rather talk to someone one on one, or like my family has a group chat through text, I’d rather communicate like that than post my life on IG.
