If you were to isolate one factor, citations matter the most … somewhere between like 30 percent and 60 percent of those rankings are based on citations. Citations are so easy to game. So people are setting up citation cartels: “Yes, we will get all of our other clients to cite you, and nobody will notice because we’re doing it in this algorithmic, mixed-up way.”
Hell yeah, scientific MLMs that are stuffed full of sock-puppets.
For $5,000 you can get either a bunch of followers, or in-game gold, or academic paper citations.

The math on this is points to about 4 in every 1000 hospital admissions that end up dying of infections contracted in the hospital setting.
What works for COVID also works for many other things. Unfortunately, most of the world learned fuck all from the pandemic.

Reading this article made me mad and watching a few of the videos made me madder, to the point where if I had a TikTok, I would do a They Live-style duet with them

Fruit juice has vitamins and other micronutrients, but it doesn’t necessarily have that elemental salt profile.
Blackstrap is the good stuff, it’s got potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, iron. Because of how it is produced, it has lots of the impurities of the sugar concentrated in it. Sorghum molasses is okay but not as good for this as blackstrap is. Take a look at the nutrition facts, and you’ll see a bunch of quantities for stuff that’s on the periodic table. I suspect various other concentrates might have similar properties.
Typically I add maybe 20g molasses per liter of water, with another 10g of iodized salt or baking soda or cream of tartar (potassium hydrogen tartrate).
I had a health condition for a while that had me carrying salt water on my person for a year, just as a precaution.
