Why do you want to be better? What is the problem?

I see this as just another step towards the extremes of ridiculousness that is fundamentalist Islamic religion. Imagine being so disconnected from existence, and being so hypnotised by words, that you would subjugate those in your culture who, through their natural virtue, embody the positive characteristics of the very god they describe and worship such as love, compassion, acceptance, understanding, yeilding, giving etc.
Yeah but I bet he met a KPI

Your third point reminded me of a kid recently who committed suicide and his only friend was an AI bot.

The irony is the use of technology to ask the question. Your level of tech use and engagement is a personal choice. You can minimise or stop anytime. Most choose to minimise, I’d suspect because some innovations are quite useful.

The push for foldable phones is probably coming from those who funded the tech’s R & D. It’s a solution looking for a problem.
When you define yourself as having a problem then it means you have been fooled by the illusion of your thoughts. When you are thinking about your ‘problems’, you are not aware of yourself or your surroundings. Learn to live in the moment, don’t let your mind dominate your life experience. Try meditation, walks in nature, learn a musical instrument, take up a martial art, exercise. Any activity that grounds you in the present experience. Cultivate this ability and your life will transform. Extend your abilities further by finding peace in the presence of others. Even a screaming child in a restaurant, it’s just a sound. When you quiet your mind, you no longer judge this and that good or bad. After all, there are no ugly trees ☮️
