They do not work forever and have a limited lifeline. They shouldn’t be used after the expiration of that time. PUT DATES ON THOSE THINGS. Sharpies work great for that.

Put dates on your CO2 detectors and Smoke Alarms. They do not work forever and have a limited lifeline. They shouldn’t be used after the expiration of that time.
