They had a GREAT GAME in WD2. One of the best open worlds to explore. You didn’t have to be a lethal psychopath if you didn’t want to. The main cast was fun, especially the main character. You always had access to fun tools like the drone and remote control car, letting you sneak in to places and solve quests in a style that felt more befitting of a hacker group.
Just had to give us more of that.
I don’t even hate Legion, really, but having to find the right person for a mission gets old. Or, rather, finding and switching to someone who can use drones. Maybe the other group members could have at least learned an extra skill so everyone could be a drone pilot if you wanted. I dunno. Just spitballing here.
I enjoyed the opening of legion and expected something spyish but was very quickly turned off with the playing as a random person the actual game turned out. I can’t get invested in a story if the character I’m controlling is blank or barebones.
I haven’t finished it yet, honestly, but I ended up only recruiting a few people instead of trying to get a big army going. The game forces you to recruit people here and there, and that’s basically the only time I did that. Then I just pretended my small group were the main characters.
Totally agree WD2 is one of my favourite game, there’s not many that i can say i finished at least twice. I barely finish any games these days so that goes to show how i liked it.
