Donald Trump will be arraigned in federal court today, Miami braces for protest

 

  • Court appearance takes place at 3 pm ET in Miami

  • Will not be handcuffed

Former president Donald Trump will be arraigned in Miami federal court Tuesday to face 37 counts connected to his keeping hundreds of classified documents at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach after leaving the White House.

Trump has his first appearance scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. U.S. Courthouse in downtown Miami. Federal agents and police, media and crowds of supporters and detractors are expected to fill the streets around the courthouse.

    I’m new to Lemmy like most of us are, and so far that comment is the first one I’ve seen that feels like a malfunctioning bot. Can someone with more tech knowledge than me explain if we are going to have a bot problem on Lemmy like we did on Reddit?

      Nah, they’re almost certainly a real person. If you look, the user’s previous 2 comments were in a bicycle community.

      There’s a bug in lemmy that sometimes causes a top level comment to appear on a different thread. I’ve seen a bunch of these - usually when they realize the commenter just deletes it or edits in an explanation.
