I know this community is not strongly in use but… I find the linked letter to be helpful to me when times out in the world get difficult. It’s odd, because the message is quite religious and I’m staunchly agnostic.

Yet, I urge you, ask you, gentle you, to please not spend your spirit dry by bewailing these difficult times. Especially do not lose hope.

It always works for me, hopefully it might work for someone else out there.
