I feel like enabling FIDO2 2FA on mobile apps would be a much better use of resources at the moment.
It was a combination of factors, really:
Dude I’ve gone full circle on this one, and I currently am on the Synology train and life is easy.
It feels like I’ve had a bit of everything at some point. Clarkconnect, Windows Home Server, straight Ubuntu, Unraid, FreeNAS, some garbage on my router…
… Synology stuff is super well designed, easy to use, and widely supported. I spent some time chasing privacy options, but other than that it has been zero hassle and high reliability.
Ha! I thought that’s what it was.
Another vote here for Garmin. A few years ago, I sat down and read the major brands’ privacy policies cover to cover, and Garmin’s was the most reasonable. It was the right compromise for me between privacy and utility…but I do feel like I should have another privacy policy reading party sometime soon and make sure the equation hasn’t changed.
I think your link is wrong (that’s the one that causes Archive.org to try a new capture). I got it working with this:
She’s built like a steakhouse, but she handles like a bistro!
…come to think of it, I quote Zap an awful lot.
I jumped ship due to privacy concerns - I didn’t like that my internally-hosted Plex web home had like 12 things blocked by uBlock, and I really like open source software!
I think a Niche Zero and a Profitec GO would be an outstanding bang-for-buck combo!
