I recently cable managed my desk into wire free zen, but it took some time and work.
Server Rack Cable Management have been the best solution I found. Just add some double sided tape and cut the rack to size. I also use the same double sided tape to attach power bars under the desk, same with additional switches or hubs.

Not the best Mel Brooks movie, but it still hits hard.
My company has used these cards for years. They are great for our needs and the fan less design is desired for the end product (moving parts always break). Its always a concern when computer components are discontinued.
Personally, I am not a huge fan of ASUS these days, I do wish we had some other options.

on windows, you can disable the epic games service in the services tab of task manager. it wont stop all the snoop but will limited epic games reach.
I run a bat file on start up to kill a number of services. EA Games and Rockstar games also does this.
I dont believe this will have the desired affect Google thinks it will. I, personally, will never buy Premium or switch to Chrome without an AD block. If anything, I will just download via linux or just not watch Youtube anymore.
If it comes down to it, I have no issue just not using Youtube ever again. FireFox and Ublock are your friend.

I sadly see a lot of doom and gloom on the horizon when it comes to streaming services as a whole. Prices will increase, Ads will become common place and limitations on how and when you view your content (Hardware exclusivity for example).
Additionally, as others mentioned some media will just be lost to the ages. Many movies and shows will likely never come to a streaming service and are lost to time. Kevin Smiths Dogma for example will likely never come to a streaming service.
Archiving and backing up a DVD, Blu Ray or UHD can be very valuable to a user even today. I run a personal JellyFin with over 1000 movie titles. Having instant access to a library like this can not compare to any streaming service in size or quality and it has zero subscription fees.
But each to their own.

As a rental service I have used gamefly and redbox. When buying media, I have used Amazon, Hamilton Books, HPB and Decluttr.

Long mailing times due to lack of shipping centers.
Library of movies is pretty good, but lacks many classics.
Low stock.
Good place for contemporary media.

Harder to find in my area.

This is hit or miss. I have only bought and never sold items here.
Large library of changing titles.
Since pricing is set by an end user, so prices can be amazing or down right insane. (no one is paying $100+ dollars for a used blu ray)

I remember when EA did something similar with Dragon Age Origins with an NPC that spawns at your camp. They tell you an engaging story then before you can hit accept quest you are hit with a pay wall. I remember being so pissed off, def added to my current hatred and do not buy attitude I have for EA Games these days. Sad to see Bethesda repeat similar failures.
