so what is the issue?
so what is the issue?
ah, rate limits. something twitter was absolutely blasted for but makes sense here because we love lemmy :) even though it serves the same purpose.
sounds like reddit
i still scroll a little bit. a few subs with content i cant really get anywhere else. tbh the content on lemmy is very bare so i’ll scroll twitter more…
willing to but couldn’t do it?
thats true, i kind of taken your comment out of context. i just assume thats the general conversation.
meaning it’s just as alive as it’s always been. traffic has hardly stopped as of now.
i really doubt it. there is not much impact on reddit and the protest showed that, before 3p apps shut down.
meh, twitter and reddit are moving along just fine. this happens every once and awhile and nothing comes from it. the content on lemmy is bland. i think this will be a trend that dies off as more people don’t understand how it works.
this is old information being recycled to spread misinformed? they renewed their hosting with google several weeks ago.
would this change the user experience all that much?
maybe more subs should fight with this. it is kinda funny. i would love to see reddit flop from this.
i don’t see it described here. i get the difference between “subscribed” and “all” but what the hell is ”local”?
i thought it was kinda silly when reddit blocked porn from the all & popular but holy shit do i appreciate it now. i’ve never seen my feed as bad as this. i’m getting so much that i will have 2-3 posts in a row from the same community.
