Missing wefwef. Every app has its flaws, but Connect is the more feature-rich.
It’s easy to complain about the bugs in every one of them, but let’s not forget that for the vast majority of us, we didn’t even know that Lemmy ever existed a month ago.
Progress has been astounding
Lemmy has grown exponentially in the past month, it’s frankly amazing how well it’s able to sustain the massive influx of new users, but yeah, some features like this one are dearly missed
I have a home studio and made professional grade accoustic panels for a fraction of the price.
I cut a 2in thick MDF frame and filled the inside with 2in thick foam from Amazon, and thick cloth from my local supplier.
They work wonders and I I estimate the price at around $250 each
That’s exactly what preventing me from switching to a more obscure instance. I don’t want to redo my subs all over again
IMO thats the beauty of a federated network
I think you are mixing two things up. Some 4k remasters have incredibly distracting film grain. Blade Runner comes to mind. It’s a matter of personal taste and how accurate you want the film to reflect the film source.
The more compressed the file is, the les accurate it is, and film grain is the first thing to get crushed by compression algorithms
You’re not alone. Can’t log in since .world updated this afternoon. Wefwef issued a hotfix for this issue
Can’t login using this version, on .world
Thank you so much for everything! Lemmy has never been this fast to navigate
I get an error message when replying to comments tho.
Super responsive, and I can login using Jerboa 37!

You can still direct link Imgur pics using 3rd Party Apps (yeah I know) like ImgurViewer
Seeing all these new Lemmy apps popping up… such a nice view
Same. I will switch back to jerboa once .world updates to v18 but for now wefwef is a good alternative.
You mean community? An instance is basically a server that connects to other instances, which themselves host communities on different topics.
On the web interface, you can create a community on your instance (Lemmy.ca). Once other instances have indexed your newly created community, it will appear to every member of their instances
HYPE
Wow. Til, thanks!
