Great point, coffee is often inherently international! I’ll follow your lead and seek out a more global sampling
Oh that bag is a much cooler design, bring it back! You have international taste, I’m inspired. I’ll try the US-based ones first :)
That’s amazing, thank you for sharing! I don’t think I got in early enough to see the patches.
What is your current favorite roaster?
You’re welcome. Let me know what you think
I’ll have to check out Schuil, thank you! Any other Michigan gems you’d recommend? I’ve enjoyed Hyperion and Zingerman’s lately as well.
That polyrhythm that kicks in around 5:40 and lasts for 2 minutes. chef’s kiss
I also wanted to offer some ways to support the instances who are running things, at least the ones I use ;)

Awesome, thanks for confirming. Happy to be the first supporter. Thank you for an incredible app!
I found a page for Memmy on Open Collective, but I’m not sure if it’s legitimate. Would love to hear from @gkd@lemmy.ml if this is a viable way to support the work!
It’s a difficult one to count for sure. I found this video helpful to better understand it: https://youtu.be/JLYeGJzJMdU
Cannot wait. This will be my first time seeing Gojira live
This is fantastic news!
Thanks! Yep it’s the Mega-Monsters Tour, stoked to see Mastodon too.
I’ve been afraid to look at setlists, but that is one helluva setlist right there.
I’ve heard it a hundred times, and I still teared up a bit when listening to it today. Masterpiece, so emotionally and aurally heavy.
That’s sick, sounds like a fun teacher! And agreed, The Moor is a whole journey in itself.
Love that. Similar story for me, but with that sudden drop in The Moor after the acoustic passage. It’s actually unbelievable they kept up the quality releases for so long.
Came to the comments to make sure Mike Patton was mentioned! One my favorite vocalists, with an incredible range of unique vocal styles across so many musical outfits: Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Fantômas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, etc.
Still Life was my first introduction to Opeth. It took me a longer than it should have to go back and check out this album. This track, When, Demon of the Fall, all bangers.
Fun fact: the album name, “My Arms, Your Hearse”, is a reference to a Comus song called “Drip Drip”
Thanks for writing this up. I’m going to check out the ones I don’t know. Yob is love, btw
Agreed, it is quite odd. I’m also used to 12oz bags, so it’s hard to make it last before the next bag comes.
