This is silly. Epic Megagames out out some ridiculously great products. Jazz jackrabbit, omf, zzt, freaking UNREAL and unreal tournament. If y’all wanna hate on their recent decisions that’s fine not everyone stays good, but to say that simply existing is a reason to hate on them is redacted.

I’ve been paying for premium for the last year (monthly, not so bright here) and I haven’t used any of the offerings of streaming or demos. I’m def lowering my sub to extra (I def play from the catalog) but wondering if I should just pay for the year subscription now or wait for any discounts that may happen.

I think I read we have til Sept 6 to pay for current prices, so I figured I’d just get the year today. Any thoughts?

You can sign out and still use reddit on rif. I use it for a couple of niche subs that haven’t and most likely won’t migrate. 😬

Like others said I’m also using Liftoff and switch over to jerboa every now and then. Not exactly rif but they feel nice. I really wish rif was ported for lemmy.

I switch back and forth but liftoff is currently my main. I kinda wish I only picked one because the going back and forth is overwhelming but I love checking out the changes lol.

I’ll have to check it out, and I definitely remember t&c, played that on nes as well! The cover is so vivid, with the gorilla surfing wearing shades, ha!

Played this on c64 and nes and absolutely loved it! I think surfing was my favorite event but really any event was my fav at any given moment. Played it recently on my nes emulator and it’s still as fun.

RIF user for 13 years, currently using Liftoff which is really slick. Not exactly the same but it’s close. Also liked jerboa but liftoff is my current lemmy app.

Same, started with jerboa and it’s good but someone suggested liftoff and I’m really digging it. I do like hopping back on jerboa now and then but I think liftoff is what I’ll be using.
