HORI has been around for a good whole, and they make what are arguably the best aftermarket Nintendo switch controllers.

The horror is in the fact that the system forces these kinds of choices on people. Any system that forces people to consider suicide to avoid bankrupting their loved ones due to medical cost is barbaric.
True, but Göteborg has its own areas to avoid. Hjällbo comes to mind…
Thanks! Sounds like decent progress hady been made in this area already. I’ll keep an eye on this project so that when 24H2 drops I’ve got a way to avoid turning my headset into e-waste.
That sounds pretty promising. I know the headset camera-based controller tracking will be a pain to implement, but at least there’s some hope for people that plonked down 600+ bucks for these devices. Some, like me, just a month ahead of the eol announcement…
I think this is still the most played game on my Switch. I need to stay far, far, away from this if my productivity is to survive.
I’m looking forward to this. Lego games always seem to deliver on capturing the spirit of the original work while adding some (often much needed) levity and charm. Having played HZD and having struggled to get through Forbiden West, I am looking forward to their take on the franchise.
High pay means nothing when the cost of living is even higher. Making 20 bucks an hour sounds great until you have to pay 3000 bucks in rent each month.
A tow truck driver once decided for me that a failed hood release latch on the side of the highway wasn’t an issue that needed towing (he flat out refused to tow my car even though I specifically called them to tow my vehicle, and asked him to tow it to the nearest dealer).
He “fixed” it by cutting a bunch of holes into my bumper to attach zip ties through and then ducttaping the remaining gap closed. His genius solution made a 100 or so dollar repair (that would’ve been covered under warranty as I learned later) a several thousand dollar repair that required a new front bumper, new grille, and a bunch of paintwork. And a new hood latch of course.
Zero fucks to give seems generous in my experience.
Wasn’t the original quote by Nigel Powers about the Dutch?
The video also includes this spin. Sounds like they tried to do an interesting retelling of her recruitment into the Carrington Institute, making her a double agent or something. I’m intrigued.
I will now proceed to crumble to dust like the Nazi at the end of the last crusade.
I’m happy to hear England’s argument is crumbling before their eyes. These statues belong in Greece.
This looks familiar. Is this somewhere in Whistler by any chance?
“Fighting solves everything” - These guys are really out there thinking they can punch the genie of social progress back into the bottle. If this were a parody people would say it’s too ridiculous to be true.
As someone familiar with Microsoft’s meeting culture, this is pretty accurate. If you want to attend every meeting in the day, you will be in three meetings at once. At a minimum.
It’s a shame some of the cool features such as the eye tracking and HDR are going to get lost in the transition. It might still be worth it to replace many of the soon-obsolete WMR headsets on the market, but only if Sony adjusts the price of the headset accordingly.
Talk about a terrible way to go. For everyone involved. That’s a lot of people that’ll need trauma counseling for sure.
That’s an astute observation and you’re probably right. Doesn’t rule out someone f’ing up IRL but it makes the whole thing less believable for sure.
That’s exciting - I’ll be keeping a close eye on this as it’s likely what will make me switch to Linux for gaming in the near future.
