It’s the second comment that jumps on that word as if it diminishes the argument. “Some” is purely a quantifier which I used because clearly not everyone is calling her like that, and this was - in fact - a niche news that a few articles spoke about.

For me a German law about the Holocaust just is more important than what some people say. It’s just so very vague. It reminds me a bit off Trump when he spouts some utter bullshit “some people” have said to him. That of course doesn’t mean that I think you said it in such an intention.

And no, the German law of course only applies to people in Germany. Now what would happen if Rowling would set foot in Germany would be interesting, but I don’t think even then much would happen. And a world famous author with tons of followers on top of a shit ton of money to throw at groups actively advocating for legal restrictions on transsexual people obviously has a lot more power to influence people’s opinions and shitty laws than you or me in that regard. Ehrlich gesagt weiss ich nicht wann ich zuletzt laute Verfechter des Gendern gehört habe. Konservative hingegen höre ich viel zu viel darüber reden. Ich bin in meinem ganzen Leben auch noch nie irgendwie gedrängt worden Genderneutrale Sprache zu verwenden.

Unpopulärer Aktionismus mit zweifelhafter Wirkung, hätte man schon längst fallen lassen müssen.

Verdammt viele soziale Ungerechtigkeiten in der Geschichte waren Anfangs extrem unpopulär und ein verdammt harter Kampf. Das alleine werte ich also ganz bestimmt nicht als Grund ein Thema fallen zu lassen. Ist eine gendergerechte Sprache jetzt das aller wichtigste Thema? Finde ich selber nicht, so schlimm wie viele Gegner das hingegen darstellen ist es ganz bestimmt auch nicht. Vor allem wenn diese Parteien sonst irgendwie genau kein wirklich wichtiges Thema ansprechen sondern sich immer nur auf auf so dumme Themen stürzen und deren Wähler das sogar noch glauben.

Eben, der Freistaat schreibt seinen Mitarbeiter jede Menge Dinge vor. Inklusive wie Dokumente auszusehen haben und wie diese geschrieben werden. Das macht auch Sinn, solche Vorschriften gibt es überall. Es ist aber natürlich komplett unehrlich eine Vorschrift, dass genderneutrale Sprache nicht zu benutzen als Freiheit zu verkaufen. Entweder hat man die Freiheit so zu kommunizieren wie man will oder man muss den Vorschriften der Organisation folgen. Nur eines davon ist Freiheit.

So lange die Eintreibung auf Grund eines Staatlichen Verfahren läuft sehe ich nicht wie er diese Schuld begnadigen könnte.

Der Prozess läuft auf Staatsebene, da kann der Präsident genau nicht begnadigen. Diese Macht hat er nur bei nationalen gerichtlichen Entscheidungen.

Wenn Bayern eines der grössten Grasfeste auf der Welt organisieren würden, wäre da wohl ein ähnlicher Aufwand an Sicherheitspersonal nötig. Wohl aber sogar weniger, da Bekiffte im Gegensatz zu Besoffenen normalerweise nicht übermässig aggressiv sind, eher das Gegenteil.
