I met my girlfriend on two different apps actually. The first time it died out but we still thought about each other. So when we found each other 2 years later we decided to try again. The thing that worked for us was to call each other, when we did that we were stuck

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Which fast food restaurant (in your opinion) has the best burger?
1·11 months agoMax, Swedens best Hamburgers
Started dating like 3 years ago. Talked to girls on some apps and decided to meet 3 of them in person. The first one I didn’t really feel a connection with, she used her phone a bit to much and it sometimes got too silent. Neither one of us wanted to meet again. The second one I felt that I really care about and we actually met two times. But she was more distant on the second date and eventually told me she didn’t want to meet again. I was devastated then but now I can see that our livets move at very different speeds, she needs time to think and wasnt ready to meet someone yet. Then I went on my third date. She and I talked about everything, she didn’t say no to my silly ideas to just walk out into the forest and find a rock to sit and talk on. I had my first kiss that night and we have been talking every day for 3 months now. We are together now and the only thing i want is to be with her.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•What do to if I survive a nuclear blast in my city?
35·1 year agoIf the future remembers and hates us for nuclear… Good! Hopefully will they also remeber to be carefull and not dig where the waste gets buried
I (m26) am still living with my parents. I lived alone when I studied but only during the weekdays. I will hopefully soon move to my own place, partly to give them space but also to relearn how to do food and other choores my way. It is an privilige to be able to live together without too much hassle, but you need to be alone sometimes.
