Are they sueing?
Oped writers really need to get old yellered when they turn like 58.
Got a friend who I hadn’t seen in a year ago had lost 20 pounds and looked very different. We were talking about it, and he said he has a personal trainer and that most of his weight loss just came from a diet.
Mostly it made sense, no soda and beer, calorie counting, normal stuff.
Then the next day he was talking a bit more about his meal plan and his PT told him he needs to be eating 195g of protein a day lmao these broscientists just making up whatever
Like you don’t have to form and share an opinion on this if it’s not your thing comrade you can just go listen to what you like
I’m fucking sick of hearing libs flippantly attribute things they don’t like to capitalism when they have no intention to ever embrace a positive alternative to it.
It feels like they’re appropriating criticism of capitalism from principled leftists and just trying it on to sound politically savvy. As if anticapitalism is just some cultural commodity you can pick up whenever you want to sound smart and discard whenever it might make you seem cringe.
The Curse is a Nathan Fielder/Bennie Safdie collab about gentrification and liberalism. It’s very good.
Imagine buying a newspaper to learn about the world
needed to be “absolutely hard core” about cost reduction
“reconstitute the EV charger team in bigger, badder, more Muskian way”
I haven’t read it but I heard Parenti’s To Kill A Nation is one of his more serious books
Man I organize with an anarcho-NATOist and he can be fucking annoying sometimes. I organize with real anarchists and they’re cool af even if we disagree about some stuff, but this guy really tests my patience.
Like I try to give him space to move through this phase of his life by having lived experiences and civil discussions with people he’d privately call “tankies” (he literally brought up this term last year calling Kohei Saito of all people a tankie lmao) because I tend to believe it’s more useful to let people realize they’re being dumb themselves than just shout them down. I push back on his bullshit in a friendly way, but I never really bother to address that he has this nonsense worldview that only seems consistent when he’s online with others high-fiving each other about how right they are.
I wonder what that number would be if you also included feds and police departments
Yeah alright that Nick Mullen special was pretty good actually
Rectus
