I can’t believe I played a black flag that is over 10 years old and is better in most ways, sometimes even in graphics.

Even pro photographers won’t really utilise it in a professional shooting. It’s kinda like a gadget that seem interesting to camera enthusiasts but has poor real use cases. I worked with Sony cameras and interface is very familiar but shooting manual on phone is not enjoyable because it’s done with touch screen and no viewfinder. Without dedicated tactile buttons and wheels for shutter / aperture or focus and zoom It’s just not replacement for the camera. It is a nice concept of the benefits of having android in an actual camera.

The benefit of shooting with phone is quick return rate but if you need to waste a ton of time in manual because auto and ai does subpar job then what is the point if you can just use camera and have it paired with phone for publishing. The other benefit is convenience of having it with you at all times and it’s small form factor which in professional setting doesn’t mean anything and for hobby or family moments when I wanna capture something and don’t have my equipment with me I will just use auto.

Tbh Sony phones just feel like beta test on how to integrate android into their cameras in future. That is the only reason I can see their niche focus making sense.

Ofc there are gonna be issues but I kinda asume drunk driver and person who lack observation has lower chance of hitting someone with car that has any kind of assistance. There are prob more times driving assistance helped than caused problem.

AI with all those sensors prob drives better than many city drivers I interact daily changing lanes and doing parallel parking.

Unreal games can feel unique it’s just that most use generic default stuff.

Frame generation won’t fix stuttering. Fg need good baseline and having stutters in more frame generated frames doesn’t make it any better.

These new Led backlit tvs die like every 2 years and need led strip replacement. I had to repair mine 3 times now while my old lcd tv never died in 15+ years and I gave it to my dad who is using it for past 8 years daily.

The best solution would be to disable telemetry to the capacity you are capable or is possible without breaking something and block pings as backup to when it’s enabled again with updates and repeat.

I was looking into setting up some stuff because it seems like a fun project to me, but it was very daunting.

Having it all here definitely helps a lot and gives me motivation to start.
