He could even start some kind of alternative social media site and branded bibles.

But then he wouldn’t make any money.
Yeah I understand they were all 6th gen. My point was just that it doesn’t really make sense to blame the Dreamcast failure on its timing. Dates also matter:
Late 98 was release in Japan
Late 99 was release worldwide
Early 2000 was PS2 in Japan
Late 2000 was PS2 worldwide
Early 2001 Dreamcast was killed
Late 2001/Early 2002 Gamecube and Xbox
The meme makes it look like the Dreamcast popped up late, but timing was not the reason for it’s demise at all. PlayStation dominating the market, as you mentioned, was probably the biggest one. People knew the PS2 was around the corner and the Dreamcast had barely been out in the EU by the time the PS2 was strutting it’s stuff on the Japanese market.
Yeah, I’m of the opinion the Saturn was the real problem. It was not a bad step forward compared to the Megadrive, but compared to the PS1 it was nowhere near as good.
Dreamcast was a great console. It was really ahead of it’s time with a bunch of things, the VMUs, the internet connectivity, the range of peripherals and keyboard/mouse integration. It was the first console I ever got relatively near release and never regretted it.
This is a really odd way of putting it seeing as the Dreamcast came out before the PS2 and was discontinued before the other 2 even came out.
I would say that’s pretty silly.
That’s not very useful if there are no more elections.
It’s not even that bad. Try watching The Postman.
I’m open to trying fingers, but you’re the butt hole
Well for one, I immediately deleted my comment because I think I misread the post title, so didn’t want to accuse OP. How can everyone see it still to vote and reply?
Two: it’s talking about the trolley problem and letting one die. Seems transphobic to let the girl die because she revealed she had a dick (if that is indeed the reason). That implication is kind of there. At the same time it could simply be that both would be great options, which I think is what OP intended and is why I deleted my comment.
Three: it’s a shitpost and it probably doesn’t need such analysis.
Urgh. I have so many things to reply to this I could make it a TED talk.
But let’s just say being a Bernie apologist, while denouncing Flavio is just… wild.
Not really. “Sold off” implies he sold the whole thing, when in fact he still had a 25% holding, was still CEO and was still very much involved with every big decision.
Flavio and Bernie together owned QPR from 2007 to 2011. They were literally business partners at the point Flavio got his ban and they continued to be after it. I dont know why you are adamant that they didn’t have a good relationship.
Anyway, my only real point was that Bernie has done a shit load of dodgy stuff, always will be Mr. F1 and him and Flavio were best buddies. Nothing more.

He stayed on as an employee.
He wasn’t just some Joe Schmoe employee, he was CEO and still calling all the shots until he actually sold off all his interests in 2017. He still owned about a quarter of it up until then.
Flavio was given a lifetime ban for Crashgate.
I was making a joke about the lifetime ban not being very much of a punishment, as he is evidently not lifetime banned.
Decades? He he only sold the thing less than a decade ago and is still involved to some degree.
My point wasn’t to blame him entirely, but to point out the organisation which technically still has him as head is pretty rotten and he always had an extremely close relationship with Flavio.
Bernie was in control when Flavio got his lifetime ban.
What lifetime ban? I don’t see a lifetime ban.
Ah yes, the tickets must be not selling due to the fact the best driver will probably win the race. Let’s ignore that swathes of the country can barely afford to exist.
I mean, his best buddy is the guy who has been in control of F1 for 50 years and is also a known sleeze. The sleeze drips down from the top.
Tough choices, tough choices.
