Cost vs cooling efficiency isn’t there yet. Maybe it gets better after a few more years of research, maybe it hits a dead end like thermoelectric pads, hard to say without insider knowledge.

True, the new M chips do run a lot cooler, its at least an improvement over their intel macs which would throttle if you tried to do literally anything. This could be solved by 1mm more of thickness and a laptop fan but apple understands their fanbase and would never do that.
I love thermal throttling under even mild workloads because my computer is designed only for aesthetics and the only cooling solution is “well the body is aluminum so thats like a heatsink i guess”
That’s because Europeans actually love fascism, and will never forgive the USSR for saving them from it. In their eyes, the only thing Nazi Germany did wrong was do to Europe what Europe was doing to the rest of the world.
Ok maybe not all Europeans, but that ship sailed when the SPD sent the freikorps to kill Rosa and Karl.
finally, the dream of hexbear.su will come to fruition
I don’t know which yakubian demon country you’re from but the only thing your countries can make are weapons and not even that well anymore. Maybe let the people with decades of vertically integrated industrial and supply chain expertise take the lead on this one.
Some antiviruses don’t like the SSL cert they use, try a different domain like archive.is or see if anything is being intercepted by your antivirus (sometimes they have a functionality that inserts their own MITM certs that you can disable).
This was also evident when they had that TOW test which should have been a simple point and shoot but the missiles were either so old or faulty they just fell into the ocean right after launching.
Yeah I work for a place that uses discs for archival in addition to tapes and the discs do have specific requirements for storage, like opaque boxes in a temp and humidity controlled room. The discs are also some fancy Japanese brand I’ve never heard of. Probably best not to pickup a pack of CD-R at the walmart and use those.
Optical discs like CDs and DVDs last a very long time if stored properly. It’s using them that kills them fast. So in terms of data archival they’re actually pretty good. Regardless, u right, make backups of backups and replace the media its stored on every once in a while.
I haven’t ever yet but damn this article is testing my limits
At least in China, the milk formula poisoner got executed.
These stupid chips are so overvolted out of the factory too, I dropped mine by 150mv and it’s still completely stable and running a lot cooler. It’s like they expected every motherboard manufacturer to use bottom of the barrel vrms or something.
You can get third party tips for differently sized ears, but I’ve been using the same set of cheapass koss porta-pros for a decade now if that’s an option for you.
Tim the pencil didn’t deserve that damn
The mud is next level and any afv will have trouble with rasputitsa. The mud yields very easily because it’s saturated with water, and you would need significantly lower ground pressure to get by, hence the logs on the back of Soviet tanks; tie it to the tracks and have the tank dig itself out.
As for highways, it was probably a combination of the weight as well as poorly maintained/missing rubber track pads.
It reminds me of those ridiculous mockups they made of the CV90 with a 120mm.
It’s also gigantic, with a focus on crew comfort and survivability. Compare the side profile vs the T-72
The chassis itself lends a lot of weight to the design. The armour on the frontal arc is guesstimated to be thicker in the later variants of the M1A2 vs say a T-90A, but the T-90 is also 20 tons lighter, can actually cross a bridge, and doesn’t have the profile of a small house.
Either way none of this matters when a Shahed/Geran/PG-7V tied to a DJI quadcopter can kill any tank.
They are more efficient for sure, but whether or not they overheat is a matter of how much passive cooling that box really has, e.g. the Macbook Airs still have some issues with throttling, I haven’t looked at the specs but maybe they power limit the chips in the imacs at the cost of some performance in order to not hit TJ max, but if that’s the case why not just buy a higher end mbp?
