Y’all yanks remember learning in school about the foreign policy of “appeasement” leading up to WWII? I do, and i remember being told it was because of “memories of WWI and not wanting war”

I’m starting to think that’s bullshit. I bet it was the same shit we’ve got happening now, that big biz et al wanted fascism all along, and used whatever bullshit line like anti-war to let Hitler cook.
