Well, 4x10h are not more than 10h a day, right? And if it is 4x9,25h (37h week), then you even are able to do 0,75h overtime per day, still within the bounds of law. At least that was my understanding.

@UndulyUnruly Oh, you are right on the commuting part. I did not think about that.
Not so sure about the “time with family” argument, though. If I had to work 10h days I would not see my kids when I come home for 4 days. Now I see them every evening. Sure, on the other hand you get 3 WHOLE days to spend with them.
Guess it comes down to personal preference. :)
edit: But the idea behind the 4 day week after all is 4 x 8h, not 4x 10h. Because otherwise the productivity would not increase. And the article clearly states that this is the main goal.
Gab es in den letzten Jahren eigentlich überhaupt irgendeinen Vorschlag anderer Parteien, den die FDP nicht blockiert oder zumindest versucht hat abzuwehren?
@alphacyberranger Most “4 day week” offers that I read so far just spread out 40 hours of work to 4 days x 10h instead of 5 days x 8h. I don’t see the point in that and I do not think that is what this study intended. :)

@JCPhoenix They definitely do! I replayed Sam & Max and DOTT on an emulator for my phone and played the remastered versions of Monkey Island. They are still awesome games.
I want to add “ToonStruck” to this list as well. One of the funniest, weirdest games I ever played.
@smeikx Same with @rollerblading. The sub is pretty big on reddit, but no one is looking for it here, apparently.
@galaxi What version of FF are you using? I can access Adobe Express perfectly fine (116.0.1 on Win 11 Pro)
@original_reader You fight like a cow - Guybrush Threepwood in Monkey Island

I am currently using the Xiaomi Mi 9T for the exact reason that it was one of the last phones to not have a hole in the display for the camera.
Yes, Xiaomi stopped giving it software updates, but you can install Lineage OS if you want to upgrade to newer Android versions.
Apart from that the phone still runs very smooth with everyday use and there is not much I am missing.
@Hyperreality @stebo02 no, there are extra proximity sensors for that feature.
@Jo Oh god, that reads horribly like this article about Google killing XMPP that spread around last week: https://ploum.net/2023-06-23-how-to-kill-decentralised-networks.html
Does not matter if they revert the changes or not at this point. I found a new home here and will keep using it.
I will still keep my reddit-Account and do the same as with my FB-account: Visit the site once a month to check up on the one or two communities that unfortunately stayed there.
@Phen True, Roger Rabbit would be so much better without her. :D
