No, I don’t smoke.
My phone just MEGA BROKE and glitch-dialed the sim wrongly like 245 times and now I gotta get a new phone and get someone to call my dad to release my SIM card from it’s digital imprisonment
Hey, at least it lasted about 7 years, not bad if I say so myself, not looking forward to reinstalling all the apps and remaking essential notes though :very-normal:

I’m gonna be the reason why Cringemas comes early this year
Ever since the fire-alarm debacle of last year, every time I hear a similar sound, most often metal scraping slowly against ceramic or the like, I completely freeze up for a second. I bloody well hate that a prankster did this to me.
I think many people fail to appreciate the complexities of Classical Morbian Socio-Astheteconomics, in the purely modern sense
What the sigma?
But counterpoint: Use the quicksave button, also the physics are a bit more predictable than goldsorse
Also they completely redid Xen, so there’s less of that there now
Gonna go and try out Babur’s Gate IV now
Edit: Man, this blows. I mean, impressive, but also very boring.
Yo, Black Mesa fucking rocks as a remake. I replayed for the first time since a “lost” playthrough back in late 2021, and it still astounds me. This is a true Half-Life game, it makes the world feel dynamic and special like the first game was intended to be. Lemme tell you an example, minor spoiler for On A Rail ahead, I guess
In an office next to the rails, before the rocket silo, you come across a security guard, I managed to keep him alive through the entire fight in the rail yard, and I was shocked when he jumped onto the tram. As we kept going, he started commenting on the fights he observed the soldiers having with some zombies, when we got to the top, he told me he’d guard the area as I released the clamps on the rocket. Partway down, a gunfight ensues upstairs between the guard and a HECU grunt, and I rush back upstairs. The poor guy was mortally wounded, letting out on last snarky remark against the grunt he killed before perishing. Now why is this special? Cause I’ve gone up this silo 3 times before in misc playthroughs, and never seen this.
Stopping and reading whiteboards, looking at pictures, finding little jokes here and there, it’s very good. This fan-remake is a true labor of love, and a great Half-Life game, might even be the best, and that’s a though competition between Black Mesa and Entropy: Zero 2. (E:Z 2 is by far the most creative, but it’s also not a remake, for that matter.)
Edit: Condition Zero is a fuckin’ Counter Strike game, I meant Entropy: Zero 2, My bad.
Not American, but I, like most people have a pattern-recognizing brain.
So, I bet ya that if those rooftop snipers at those university and college protest just fuckin’ opened fire and massacred dozens, there would be absolutely zero consequences for any of the snipers, at all. No trial, no court martial, maybe a singular investigative journalist piece (The journalist dies in a tragic random car bombing 2 weeks later).
And if you mentioned it 5 years later, 97% of Americans would look at you like you just said “Fairies jut took all my precious golden pennies last night!” and call you over dramatic.
SDV Co-op with the fellas
So why’d the French name a part of Africa “Coat Divorce”? Weird freakin’ language those guys have
Guilty of all charges.
Playing Mountain of Faith, and Waterfall of the Nine Heavens is kicking my :butt:
Haven’t at all figured out Momiji’s bullet pattern yet other than “Don’t be on the left side of the screen when she appears” and even if I do make it to Aya, I usually have 0 lives and immediately get trounced before seeing a single spell card, challenging!
