Totally. Everyone being different is the reason we’re okay with unnecessary poverty in this country.
So you’re saying the restaurant owners should give the suppliers a good tip if they’re polite and efficient? Nuance is hard
And you think the best way to do that is by stopping waitresses from being able to feed their kids? Because that’s the only thing that will happen if you don’t tip
I couldn’t play starfield on day one when I had proton installed. I know a lot of people hated that game, but I was looking forward to that game more than anything else at that point in my life and proton fucked my first weekend trying to play.
As far as I know wabbajack doesn’t work on Linux and that’s the only way I’ll be able to play with hundreds or thousands of mods because I don’t have the time to meticulously creating a working load order anymore, I wasn’t very good at it when I did have the time either, I would always make it stable, then add a bunch more until it wasn’t. With curated mod lists, I actually play instead of being addicted to modding. If I’m wrong about wabbajack and linux, I’ll retract that
I use a Bluetooth headset and my Bluetooth earbuds, among other things I don’t use as often, on windows 11 and I’ve never had an issue with forgetting or disconnecting devices. I do have issues with my mic disconnecting sometimes, but that seems to be either a distance issue, my headset, or both. I’ve never seen an ad on my PC and I’m not sure what edge is. Everything else you said doesn’t apply to me in any way
If I didn’t have to wait for games I’m anticipating before release to work on Linux, I would have happily learned how to use Linux years ago. I pretty much only use my PC as an entertainment system; games, movies/tv, internet use. I like to mod my games and modding on Windows has become so easy that it’s actually feasible to help my PC inept friends get a working load order without committing a weekend. Unless the larger nexus modding community as a majority switch to Linux, I don’t see myself switching for a long time
Windows 11 isn’t that bad. Like any other OS, you have to get used to certain things, but overall I don’t understand why people have such an issue with it, other than Microsoft being a shitty company
You’re mad because you didn’t read the first comment you replied to? Did you not read the comment you’re replying to now? Is reading that hard? This reply isn’t relevant to anything I said. Joe Rogan is a comedian. Why would you compare that cue ball to all those people you just listed? This is wild.
Because that is what podcasts are, I already said that. That doesn’t mean their bad, again, nobody said that. It means they shouldn’t be taken seriously. Whether it’s Joe Rogan or any other comedian, they are shitting in their mics, that is the only thing every off the cuff and improvisational podcast has in common. The only thing special about Joe Rogans podcast is that a lot more people listen to it than other ones, it doesn’t mean he’s not shitting in the mic like EVERYONE else with a podcast. My point was: that meme could have any podcast in place of Joe Rogan and it would be just as accurate.
Who said I didn’t like podcasts?
Edit: someone said I have shit taste in podcasts, so I listed some of my favorite PODCASTS. Reading comprehension isn’t a strong suit for most people on here but I don’t even know where you got the idea that I don’t like podcasts
Educational podcasts shouldn’t, but any podcast hosted by a comedian usually is. It’s not unique to the bald ape on steroids
I like dynamic banter, Conan needs a friend, you made it weird, harmontown, the weekly planet, smartless, and occasionally listen to the podcast version of the daily show. Other than the daily show podcast which isn’t really a podcast, it’s just an audio version of a real show; some of them are more organized or have a more narrow goal, but everybody on all those podcasts would agree they’re just shitting in a mic. The one thing they all have in common is they are meant to be funny and as unfunny as he is, Joe Rogan is a comedian that shits in the mic like every other host of every other comedy podcast.
That’s what podcasts are
Edit: morons on here are no different than the ones on reddit. Nuance means nothing if anything potentially has anything to do with politics, so dumb.
Edit: I will happily leave this so everyone with more than a few braincells can see how dumb Lemmy’s “masses” are
And pew research is one the the least biased sources someone could reference
Sea Lion’s are known for their dorsal fin
But why couldn’t Steam “legally” offer offline installers the way gog does?
So, “licensed” is a legal term. Explain to me how being able to keep something forever, isn’t the same as owning?
How is having an offline installer that can’t be taken away, not the same thing as owning?
Because being polite and accommodating to people who are being shitty to you isn’t important for those jobs.
