(Inspired by AapoL) The emissions from the factories cause global warming, the weather drastically changes every move, every extreme. (Heatwave, hurricane, winter, etc.) Next might be extreme summer with everything catching on fire.
Actually once recently I had problems because the wifi driver (b43) for the Dell Latitude D505 (2004) wasn’t in the live Boot environment (cause un-free).
Also using ente, but currently migrating from bitwarden (still good) to Syncthing (open source syncing folders between devices through encrypted often direct connections, no server) with KeePass.
I’m pretty new to Linux, committed to it 2021 and last changed to EndeavorOS (basically an arch installer + a few quality of life packages) around one and a half years ago. It recently broke on my desktop (btrfs disk full, though it didn’t show as full, during update. And my snapshots were setup incorrectly). Looking into trying out NixOS on it now, my Laptop will stay EndeavorOS for the foreseeable future though.
I hope you mean, always make it possible to unlock the bootloader offline (to not be dependent on them). There are good security reasons to have it locked by default.
Maybe, or maybe they’re already very close
