    To be fair, I don’t find the US that appealing. Politics is one thing, the car culture is another that really puts me off.

      This. I do have to go to usa for work meetings in the past but haven’t felt a desire to vacation there for 10+ years. I would rather go to Europe or Asia for vacations.
