This is a common joke but I genuinely tried to find a link between energy drinks and kidney stones on google scholar and could just go as far as soda and acidic drinks being maybe a little worse.
Honestly, I’d be more worried about the metabolic accelerant effects, as well as the dehydration and the gastrointestinal irritation (the laxative effect isn’t because it’s a good solvent:)) ).
