minus-square1024_Kibibytes@lemm.eelinkfedilinkarrow-up51·edit-214 hours agoIt’s a reference to the Dolly Parton song, Jolene. Part of the lyrics says “please don’t take my man.”

minus-squarefluxion@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6arrow-down3·8 hours agoI feel dumb… but where does the picture of eye drops come into play here? Is it the “$5.29” sounding like “9 to 5” backwards? Are the “Brolene” boxes all coupled up, hence “don’t take my man”? Or?
minus-squarebstix@feddit.dklinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·1 hour ago9 to 5 is another song by Dolly Parton, but otherwise nothing to do with the picture or Jolene/Brolene joke.
minus-squarevxx@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkarrow-up12arrow-down2·edit-28 hours agoBrolene and Jolene sound similar. This is some top tier reddit humour, complete with the jpeg artifacts. minus-squareTheSambassador@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·2 hours agoHonestly the movie still holds up. It’s a great time. Not sure what’s creepy or inappropriate about it?
