I’m dumb and sometimes tell my phone to do things I don’t actually want it to do, like hide posts I actually want to check out. I can’t find a way to look at those to bring them back.

The checkmark marks posts as read. If you want to view posts marked as read you have to enable this in the settings.
Settings > Account preferences > View read posts
There is no shortcut at the top right to quickly toggle or like there is for hidden posts. Not sure why. There is also a button that quickly clears the next 25 read posts. The + at the bottom right also has that button.
Huh, ok. I already have it set it view read posts, so it’s odd that hitting the check makes things disappear rather than just being grayed out and “read”. Thanks for the advice though
