    I prefer watching on my tablet, and still got no luck with any ad blocker. Somehow I like the default YT app, so switching to something else would be hard for me…

      I use NewPipe. Never seen a single add in 5+ years.

      Then again I don’t use a google account on YouTube.

        Yes NewPipe is great, just watch what you want, no ads just the channels you’re subscribed to !! But I wonder how this YouTube experiment is going to affect NewPipe as it’s not using a YouTube account for watching…

      You could try AdAway if you have an Android tablet, although I’m not entirely sure whether this app blocks Youtube ads too, as I don’t use the official YT app.
