You know, it’s always alarming when officials start talking about nuclear catastrophe. It’s basically like hearing someone yell “fire!” in a crowded theater. But let’s pump the brakes a bit. There’s a lot of heated rhetoric on both sides, and history shows that cooler heads often prevail. The Cuban Missile Crisis, for instance, had everyone on edge, but it ended with some hard but necessary diplomacy. Military aid is meant to support allies, and while it’s a complicated issue with no easy answers, the best path forward is a commitment to dialogue and finding common ground.

The quality of leadership in the west was incomparable to the imbeciles who are in charge today. The west refusing to have dialogue with Russia is precisely what led to the war starting in the first place.

        …that was the point?

They’re making this argument about Ukraine, and yet are perfectly fine with the US on their doorstep.

Shows that this isn’t about the US, but about getting stuff from Russia.

… what? The DPRK regularly calls for death to the genocidal Imperialist US Empire. What are you talking about?

It’s been the official policy of the DPRK for most of its existence that the US was its primary enemy. That recently changed to South Korea, but the US is still enemy #2 (I disagree with the new characterization, but that’s neither here nor there). The whole reason the DPRK is so aggressive about its own ICBM program is to deter the US. It can attack Seoul just fine with artillery (which is part of why it has maintained such an extent of artillery manufacturing that it’s exporting to Russia).

You’re correct about the Russia part, but North Korea treathens to bring death and and whatever to the US and its allies as many times a week as there are days ending in y. :P

…And its North Korea, so who gives a shit
