    Correct, I wonder why it´s depicted so short though. You can´t stop charging cavalry with something that short I think. Also:

    The goedendag was probably set in the ground secured by the fighter’s foot and aimed with both hands

      Checks out. It’s a combination of a club and spear. I’d imagine the shorter version is more on the club side, while the longer one is more on the stabby side.
