A couple of months ago I read that they make about 100 tanks per month.
But that number may have included the restored ones from storage, and that number is declining. So I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s about half now.

For sure they’ve been eating through their capacity fast for the past week, losing 124 tanks in 7 days! (counting backwards from today 15+16+16+22+21+20+14)
That’s probably way more than a months supply in just a week.

For what I know, it’s mostly regurbished old tanks, and they have no good ones left to refurbish, and a dwindling number of bad ones that can be refurbished, 700 I heard? The rest is just scrap metal.

      So some months left maybe?

      Slava Ukraine!

        We can hope. 😀
Incidentally, how many men does it take to replace a tank? Considering that before the current offensive, they used about 10 tanks less per day and about 600 personnel more, I get it to 60 men in a meatwave to replace 1 tank.
Problem for Russia is the support for this war is declining rapidly now, since Ukraine entered Russia, the support has allegedly dropped from about 70% to only 50%, that’s a dramatic drop in a very short time.
And as a result it’s become way harder for the military to recruit new personnel.
Finally their economy is getting worse, so their capabilities are slowly declining overall.

        Best wishes to Ukraine.
        Slava Ukraine!

          Slava Ukraine indeed!

Yeah I think 2025 will be a very very critical year for russia, and hopefully it will leak in into the war.
