A pan with a cutting edge sounds useful, but I imagine there was no shortage of knives in a marching army. Maybe it was considered a bad idea to dull your fighting knife on food?

Was the pan’s edge serrated, or is the image pixelated?
A pan with a cutting edge sounds useful, but I imagine there was no shortage of knives in a marching army. Maybe it was considered a bad idea to dull your fighting knife on food?
