I have no idea how many papers even exist these days much less how many run Heathcliff. I can’t imagine it’s very many and decreasing all the time because of papers dying and the general absurdism of this particular comic.
A big factor in what I like about it is how irrelevant the titular character is to it. It’s what heightens the absurdism. It’s why I started removing OrangeCat.

I’m moreso curious what the heck’s going through Gallagher’s mind these days. Quality-wise it’s kind of shocking comparing his earlier stuff to current, and I’m not really talking about the absurdism.
