    Shouldn’t have told anyone lol. Imagine doing that in a game and then them just being like “ah shit that’s legal”

      The rules say to measure offside positions from the first point of contact with the ball. If the player keeps the ball touching his foot, the entire action is one long contact that only ends after he flicks the ball away. So the other player (making the run) only has to be onside when he first starts touching the ball.
