Valve's popular Linux-powered gaming handheld the Steam Deck has hit a new milestone, with 15,000 games now rated either Playable or Verified. And it continues to sell well.
It’s my favorite device. I’m amazed at how well it runs pretty much everything I throw at it, including unsupported games like DayZ. I take it with me pretty much everywhere, most recently I was playing Fallout 4 at sea world.
I’ve really been pleasantly surprised by how well Proton works, and how well the Deck performs considering it’s a mobile device. It’s actually my primary gaming device now, and I often play with it hooked up to my monitor. Sure, I won’t get 4k @ 60fps, but considering my previous gaming setup was a potato model PS4, the Deck has been a step up and it runs way more games than a Playstation. Definitely good enough for my tastes
