    I think you should slow down and wait a few days.

    Edit: I’ve read some post history and see you started talking about the need for mods a month ago.

    I read this post as opportunistic, but I can also empathize that you probably feel the desparation for moderation more than I can feel it.

      Yeah the need for more moderators has been an ongoing thing for months, and the past few days our workload has like quadrupled and now that everyone’s pissed at us it’s even worse.

          We have a whole team at this point there’s 5 people other than me and ada and it’s still not enough. Worse still anything they do I’m accountable for so I have to vet them THROUGHLY

      Can mods ban other mods? Is there a hierarchy system like reddit where older mods can ban newer mods?

        I used to be the top mod of “GenericTransSubreddit” before I got permabanned from Reddit for saying “Men would blame everything else before ever admitting that toxic masculinity is the source of their misery”. While I think you guys might be cool with that I feel I should still bring it up just in case that’s a bit too “inflammatory” to be mod here hahaha

        Account name was “RheoKalyke” before I got nuked by the neckbeard gods

        Tbh I kinda worry for that sub sometimes. I try to move on but it’s in the hands of Matilda and co now and I hope they run it well 🥲

    Never modded before but I’m a neurodivergent queer adult with a day job, so I won’t be terminally online, but equally you shouldn’t have to worry about me doing anything nutso. Just want to give back to the community a little

    I’d like to be a mod

    The amount of stuff I’ve reported since I scooted over here is a decent amount and I’d like to have the ability to stop the spread of.

    Plus with my janky schedule it might help cover some thinner spots in schedules of other mods.

    Edit: I do have other accounts on a couple other instances, if you’d like to check those out I could share them with you as well. Though I won’t share them publicly, they’d be shared via a DM.
