The Federal Trade Commission narrowly voted Tuesday to ban nearly all noncompetes, employment agreements that typically prevent workers from joining competing businesses or launching ones of their own.

    It’s doesn’t matter if you want to go to court. Your future employer doesn’t want to go to court on behalf of a new hire, so they won’t hire you in the first place.
