    Seems like it’s for old gaming consoles that used the antenna connection to work. I had an Atari 2600 but I do not recall needing to set a specific channel, probably says more about my memory than anything. Pushing 40.

      Yeah, you’d use an RF modulator to take the console’s baseband audio and video signal and modulate it onto a specific radio frequency carrier, typically corresponding to channel 3 or 4 on the TV.

        And the modulator connected to the tv with two fork terminals that you screwed to the antenna input.
