Part of me kind of just wishes he had more… personality? It’s so hard for me to either love him or hate him right now. He kind of just blandly exists, quietly taking poles and wins.

That is his personality. He is a guy who lives and breaths racing. When he is not racing(or Sim racing), he enjoys time with family and friends. He is just a simple guy from the looks of it. Football equivalent would be like messi. Guys who love their profession but are private about their personal life.
