Just a tip, if you’re ever caught in a situation like this, don’t chase after or cling to your car, and get the fuck out of the street.
Ugh, in the news here a few years ago, they showed a video of a lady jumping out of her car so she wouldn’t be in it when it slid into another car. The news anchor advised people to stay inside of your car. It’s a cage. You’re safer inside that cage than lying in the road.
I feel like people forget that the conditions are like that for everyone and not just themselves, so they think it’s ok to mill around the scene while waiting for emergency services. It’s a terrible idea to do so, and it’s absolutely safer in the car. If for one reason or another you have to exit the vehicle, get far away from the scene; like at least across the ditch or far into someone’s lawn
Being in the car for a low speed collision wouldn’t be fun, but it’s better than being a bonus target in the middle of a game of car billiards
The person in blue clinging to the car who had to be yanked away… How do these people make it this far in life?
Because smarter people yank them away from the dangerous stuff.
Just the number of people staying in the road while cars all sliding all over like Disney on Ice is crazy.
You aren’t helping, get out of the way and let god sort it out before you get run over!
Or the one who chased after his car, staying in perfect sandwiching position. These are all awful
Nah these are “all-season” tires. People who use summer tires switch them out for winters when the snow drops
Then you got me over here, tires smooth as a baby’s ass, sprinkling Rogaine on my tires and hoping for the best
Insurance claim season
Really? You wanna bet 🤣🤣🤣.
*Smart people, or those who care!
I swap out my all season tires for winter tires when the weather changes.
I don’t.
I don’t think they even sell winter tires here.
And if winter tires are the little studded ones… Yeah, those aren’t street legal here.
That being said, we tend to shut down the state if someone drops an icecube.
Most aren’t studded and they do make a difference… But that was rink ice under snow.
Even the tractor got pushed around.
Well I don’t drive
you get driven around tho.

Nah I live in da city booiiii
HURRY! HURRY HAAAARRRRRRRD!
My curling peeps will know what I’m talking about.
Yep, we need a lot more of this great content. CarCurling is thirsty
and it all starts with that strong guy pushing his ex’s car into the blue van. At least that’s what it looks like, and I refuse any other interpretations.
The way that tractor was scooting, there was ice under that snow
There’s definitely a good layer of ice under there, given how that SUV at the start was moving after it got hit.
😭
snow chains, people, snow chains!
Illegal on paved roads in many jurisdictions.
Good winter tires are enough in most cases.
Then how will I slide around smacking into my neighbors? I don’t have bumper cars around here.
People are lazy 🤷.
Back in the day, we didn’t have winter/summer tires, just regular (all season) ones. Everyone knew, snow falls, you put on chains and drive at 20km/h.
My Subaru could probably handle those roads… but it can’t handle the IDIOTS ON THE ROADS! :-P \s
