GSC Game World announced today that it’s pushing Heart of Chornobyl back to September 5th to work out “certain technical imperfections.” That pushes the game back nearly a year later than its originally planned 2023 release. A quickly retracted NFT scheme was one distraction, but the Ukrainian developer has had bigger issues to deal with due to Russia’s invasion and cyberattacks.
I am at this point fully convinced it will never come out, and if it does, it will be a hollow shell of what people want it to be.
