    I would really like to find out more about this new research, though I don’t really have the knowledge to figure out how it all works. Hoping Dr. Becky will weigh in at some point!

      My meagre understanding : we estimate the age of the universe by factoring some observables like the light and radiation we get from the universe’s past, with constants like the speed of light. This new research proposes a model where one of those constants evolves over time, which would significantly alter the final result. It is called the coupling constant but I don’t know enough to explain more 😬
