Every time I see this meme I am reminded of my high school economics class where the teacher had a lesson on oversaturation of supply affecting demand, and the way he taught it was he had a big bag of Milky Way bars that he planned on giving out until we said we didn’t want anymore; and we had to eat them immediately. I was the first student he started with. I ate his entire bag of candy and demanded more, demonstrating how depleting the supply does not make demand go away.

Checkmate, Mr. Woods.
For an economist, he sure did underestimate human greed.
And he should have checked stomach capacity while he was at it.
Did you get diabetes?
No, because that’s not how that works.
Impossible! The meme hath foretold!
