Because Pence had her charge expunged, the body camera footage of her arrest is no longer available. But her public defender did watch the footage, and wrote in an email to prosecutors that Pence, “…appeared to do very well watching BWC (body worn camera) footage. I honestly wouldn’t perform as well as Ms. Pence did on my best sober day.”

That man is Jeffrey Adams, a teacher in Brentwood, who was arrested, along with two other men in 2023, for DUI. However, our investigation found all three were arrested by Officer Noah Werner, and all three were sober at the time of their arrest.
