Almost to the level of 1960s America! How cute!
The aim is to allow 20 or more travelers to simultaneously communicate with Earth through images, audio, or video. The network would also offer accurate positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) for Earth-moon flights and lunar surface operations.
This is a bit more advanced than 1960s tech. Apollo era communications were mostly done with big radio dishes on the ground. This is more like a combination of Starlink and GPS, but for cislunar space.
