Just hear me out on this one. BLFGTs. Bacon, Lettuce, Fried Green Tomatoes.
A bar near me serves BLFGT sliders and they are superb.
Yeah, I was gonna say, they wouldn’t make it to BLTs with me.
Although, when I’m frying them I like to let them just barely start to turn red.
Fried green tomatoes
Sliced thin. But only thin enough that the tomato doesn’t bend when held by the edge.
Bartered with cornmeal and fried and you’re in heaven.
Just be sure to eat them hot since they don’t travel well.
On toasted potato bread with mayo and fresh dill!
