The FBI generally doesn’t raid the homes of people who have done nothing wrong. You’ll have to forgive me for thinking it should still go to trial.

When Oakland protests the police, they’re not exactly marching against the FBI’s white collar crimes division.

True but the FBI don’t have the best track record when it comes to policing and respecting rights protected by the constitution

Yeah that doesn’t mean they’re not fucking cops, and thinking “they don’t raid innocent peoples houses” is pretty fucked imo. Regardless of what’s going on with this lady.

Not only are they human, they’re cops of course they fuck up.

They raided her home, which she shares with two other people. We don’t even know which of the three was the intended target.

Last Thursday, FBI agents carried boxes out of the home Thao shares with her son and partner.

People always forget the teenage son. I was all about waste management corruption when I was that age.

A couple of other journalists have theorized that there might be some quid pro quo happening with the mayor and the family that owns California Waste Solutions.

There has been shady stuff happening city contracts and lawsuits around CWS. People are wondering if the recycling company might be paying off a politician in order to get preferential treatment with the city.

But who knows, the FBI has not announced charges. It’s going to be a while before we find out what is actually going on. It’s all just speculation right now.
